- This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by Users in connection with their use of the services of the SUT Online Store.
- The administrator of personal data collected in the SUT Online Store is the Silesian University of Technology based in Gliwice (postal code 44-100), 2A, Akademicka Street, Gliwice, with legal personality pursuant to Art. 12 Act of July 27, 2005 - Law on Higher Education (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2012, item 572, as amended), NIP 631 020 07 36, REGON 00000 16 37.
- Personal Data is processed on the basis of the consent expressed by the User and in cases where the law authorizes the Administrator to process personal data on the basis of legal provisions or in order to implement the contract concluded between the parties.
- The SUT online store performs the functions of obtaining information about users and their behaviour in the following way:
a) by voluntarily entering information in forms
b) by collecting "cookies" files. - The SUT online store collects information voluntarily provided by the user.
- The data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g. to process the information contact.
- Personal data left on the website will not be sold or made available to third parties, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act.
Your personal data may be transferred to the payment operator and courier company. - The data contained in the form may be viewed by the natural person who placed it there. This person also has the right to modify and request the cessation of processing of his or her data at any time and to delete the data.
- We reserve the right to change the privacy policy of the SUT Online Store, which may be influenced by the development of Internet technology, possible changes in the law on the protection of personal data and the development of our services. We will inform you about any changes in a visible and understandable way.

COOKIES POLICY
Types of Cookies used
- Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User's Device. In particular, this way it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted software or malware to penetrate Users' Devices. These files allow to identify the software used by the User and customize the Website individually for each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they come, the time they are stored on the Device and have the assigned value.
- The Administrator uses two types of cookies:
a) Session cookies: they are stored on the User's Device and remain there until the end of the browser session. The saved information is then permanently deleted from the Device's memory.
b) Permanent cookies: they are stored on the User's Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending a given browser session or turning off the Device does not delete them from the User's Device.
Purposes for which Cookies are used
- The Administrator uses its own Cookies to authenticate the user on the website and ensure the user's session on the website, in particular to:
maintaining the Website User's session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on each subpage of the Website;
correct configuration of selected functions of the Website, enabling in particular verification of the authenticity of the browser session. - The Administrator uses its own Cookies to carry out processes necessary for the full functionality of the websites, in particular to adapt the content of the Website's websites to the User's preferences and to optimize the use of the Website's websites. In particular, these files allow to recognize the basic parameters of the User's Device and properly display the website, tailored to User’s individual needs.
- The Administrator uses its own Cookies for analysis, research and audience auditing, and in particular to create anonymous statistics that help to understand how Website Users use the Website's websites, which allows improving their structure and content.
- Cookies are not used by the Administrator to retrieve any personal data or any confidential information from the User's Device.
Possibility to determine the conditions of storage or access via Cookies

The User can change the settings referred to in the previous sentence using the web browser settings or via the service configuration.
